This onboarding guide will help you get your catalog into ALLOY.
On the following pages, you’ll find everything you need, to make the process as simple as possible.
Most importantly, this is a one-time ‘set-it-and-forget-it’ process, which will enable more people to use (and pay for) your music, while at the same time giving you full control over how each of your songs is (or isn’t) used.
First of all, what are we doing here?
In case you’re not fully aware of what ALLOY does, you can watch our 2-min ‘explainer’ video here.
… Now that we’re all on the same page, let’s begin the onboarding process.
Right. Let’s go.
STEP-BY-STEP ONBOARDING PROCESS:
STEP 01 – DOWNLOAD THE DATA UPLOAD TEMPLATE[S]
(FYI - there’s one for publishing data, and one for recording data.)
** PLEASE ONLY UPLOAD DATA FOR THE MUSIC THAT YOU DIRECTLY CONTROL THE SYNC RIGHTS FOR **
It is imperatvie that the information you provide is 100% accurate. If you have any questions, please contact us. We’re happy to walk you through the process.
STEP 02 – INPUT THE INFORMATION FOR YOUR CATALOG.
At the bottom of this onboarding guide, you will find supporting documentation, to help you populate all of the fields. Don’t worry, it’s pretty simple, but all fields are required… and don’t forget, you can contact us any time if you get into any difficulty: hello@alloy.music
STEP 03 – SUBMIT YOUR COMPLETED DATA TEMPLATE[S].
Once you’ve populated the spreadsheet(s), send them over to ALLOY’s data team.
Use this link [OR] e-mail the completed spreadsheet to: hello@alloy.music
STEP 04 – YOUR DATA WILL THEN BE UPLOADED INTO ALLOY.
You will receive an e-mail confirmation once your upload has been completed.
STEP 05 – CHOOSE YOUR SYNC PREFERENCES.
For Distro/Premium/Pro users, once your catalog has been uploaded, you will then be sent a short survey to complete, in order to populate your own personalised sync usage preferences.
That’s it. You’re now online!
** SUPPORTING DOCMENTATION **
